Description

Blending limes, skins and all, is a genially simple way bring out the flavor wonderfully in a nice cold cerveza.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 6 limes (washed and quartered)
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons agave
  • 6 Mexican beers (I used Modelo)

Instructions

  1. Take the limes and put them in your blender. Add the water and puree until almost smooth.
  2. Pour the puree into a bowl and stir in the agave. Add a little more or less depending on your tastes.
  3. Take a spoonful or two of the lime puree and add it to the bottom of a chilled pilsner glass.
  4. Top with one beer.

Notes

  • Buy organic limes to ensure the peel is edible.
  • Make sure your limes are washed before you blend them.
  • If you want a less thick puree, you can strain it through a sieve, totally optional!
