Finish summer with a bang by mixing up a boozy, Swedish strawberry punch. Vodka, fresh fruit, elderflower cordial, and cucumbers boost the strawberry-lime hard cider up a delicious notch.
It may be August, but don’t count summer out quite yet! Especially with Rekorderlig, the premium hard cider born and brewed in Vimmerby, a small town in the South of Sweden, continuing to spread the Beautifully Swedish message around town. With VIP bar experiences at Honest Cooking’s upcoming NORTH Festival and August’s Full Moon Fest on Governor’s Island, along with Sun x Cider parties at Playland Motel in the Rockaways and Surf Lodge in Montauk almost every weekend, the delicious cider is certainly making the most of the season. Rekorderlig cider can be enjoyed over ice with fresh fruit garnishes, or incorporated into delicious cocktails. Click here to find the nearest location to purchase the cider.
For cider fans hoping to recreate Rekorderlig’s Beautifully Swedish experience at home, Joel Persson has created an easy, fresh and tasty recipe, the Swedish Strawberry Punch. Crafted with Rekorderlig Strawberry-Lime Cider, premium vodka, elderflower cordial, fresh quartered strawberries, slices of cucumber, and mint leaves, this is the ideal libation for rooftop BBQs and lazy end-of-summer soirees.
Who knows? Maybe Rekorderlig’s vintage VW van will magically appear as you mix your drink? One can dream. #BeautifullySwedish
