Whatever season we may be in fruits are always refreshing to enjoy. To me the melon varieties are the most refreshing. Here I have used small cookie cutters to cut out the shapes. Kids can cut them out by themselves with a little help from the elders. Its a fun project to do and makes a great salad for parties.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need cookie cutters, or can the fruit be prepared another way?
The cookie cutters are the main technique called out in both the article and the notes — the article says kids can cut shapes themselves with a little help, making it a fun activity. If you don’t have cookie cutters, you can use a knife to cut the melon into cubes or triangles instead; the lemon-honey dressing works just as well on any shape.
Can I use agave syrup instead of honey?
Yes — the notes specifically mention substituting agave syrup for honey as a vegan option. Use the same quantity (1 tbsp) in the lemon-honey dressing mixture.
