Delicious Side Dish – Baked Cauliflower

Tamara Novacoviç with a really simple, but delicious, idea for vegetable side dish.
By Tamara Novacoviç

I usually eat cauliflower or broccoli simply cooked in salted water and drizzled with olive oil. I so often find simple recipes to be the best, especially when I’m dealing with ingredients I really like. This time I put everything onto a baking sheet, drizzled with olive oil, salt and pepper. I added garlic cloves because garlic has the most beautiful flavor when baked.

This is a warm appetiser and a beautiful way to prepare cauliflower!

  • olive oil
  • salt
  • pepper
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • fresh, chopped parsley
  • if you wish: some chili pepper flakes, to sprinkle

  1. Put prepared cauliflower onto baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Add 2 peeled garlic cloves. Sprinkle with salt and pepper, drizzle with olive oil. Bake 375 F for about 20 minutes.
  2. Serve warm, sprinkled with chopped parsley and some chili pepper flakes.

  • This sound so mouthwatering. I can’t wait to make it. I think it would be great if you would make it a non-veg and add some chicken. I have to try it. Thanks for the recipe.
