Description

This Sweet Citrus and Mint Green Smoothie is a refreshing blend of spinach, citrus fruits, banana, and mint, offering a delicious, nutrient-packed drink that’s dairy-free.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 medium-large bananas
  • 1 1/2 pink grapefruits, rinsed and peeled
  • 1 navel orange, rinsed and peeled
  • 1 packed cup spinach
  • 20 mint leaves
  • 1/4 cup almond milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 24 large ice cubes

Instructions

  1. Peel and segment the pink grapefruits and navel orange, removing any seeds.
  2. Add the bananas, grapefruit segments, orange segments, spinach, mint leaves, almond milk, vanilla extract, and ice cubes to a blender.
  3. Blend on high speed until smooth and creamy, about 1-2 minutes. Ensure all the ingredients are well combined and the mixture is frothy.
  4. Pour the smoothie into glasses and serve immediately for the best flavor and texture.

Notes

For a thicker smoothie, use frozen bananas instead of fresh. If you prefer a sweeter taste, add a teaspoon of honey or agave syrup. This smoothie is best consumed immediately but can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours. Shake well before serving if stored.
