Description

Rich, decadent chocolate pie, ready in a flash. Perfect for busy weeknights!


Ingredients

  • 8 ounces (227 g) Cream Cheese
  • 3 Tablespoons Honey
  • 2 Tablespoons unsweetened Cocoa Powder
  • 1/4 cup whipped cream
  • 3 Tablespoons Milk/Almond Milk
  • 2 cups (473 ml) blanched almond flour
  • 2 Tablespoons Cocoa Powder
  • 1 egg
  • 3 Tablespoons butter
  • 1/4 teaspoon sea salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (177°C).
  2. Add almond flour, cocoa powder, egg, butter, and salt to a food processor. Pulse until a ball forms.
  3. Press dough into a 9-inch pie dish and bake for 8-12 minutes on a baking sheet to catch drippings. Allow to cool for 10 minutes.
  4. In a medium bowl, combine softened cream cheese, honey, 1 tablespoon cocoa powder, whipped cream, and milk. Beat with a mixer on high speed until smooth. Add the remaining cocoa powder and beat until smooth.
  5. Spoon the chocolate filling into the chocolate pie crust and spread evenly.
  6. Chill in the refrigerator for 1 hour before serving.

Notes

  • For a richer flavor, use dark chocolate cocoa powder.
  • If the crust is browning too quickly, cover the edges with aluminum foil during baking.
  • This pie can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days, or frozen for up to 2 months.
