Frequently Asked Questions
Why is the avocado blended separately instead of being juiced with the other ingredients?
Avocado is too fatty and fibrous to pass through a juicer cleanly — it would clog the machine. Instead, step 1 juices all the other ingredients (celery, cucumber, apple, ginger, spinach, pineapple, lemon), then step 2 transfers the juice to a blender with ice and avocado and blends for 10 seconds to create a smooth, creamy finish.
Should I drink this juice immediately after making it?
Yes — step 3 says to pour and enjoy immediately. Fresh green juice oxidizes quickly and the avocado will brown and lose its creamy texture if the drink sits too long.
