Description

This mango yogurt shake, popular in New Zealand, is a creamy and flavorful blend of mango pulp and natural yogurt, perfect for cooling down on warm days.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 500 g plain natural yogurt
  • 500 g canned mango pulp
  • A pinch of salt (optional)
  • Ice cream (optional, for serving)

Instructions

  1. Combine the mango pulp, yogurt, and a pinch of salt in a blender.
  2. Blend on high speed for 2 minutes until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
  3. Serve the shake chilled, optionally topped with a scoop of vanilla or mango ice cream.
  4. Drizzle some additional mango pulp on top for extra flavor.

Notes

For a thicker shake, use Greek yogurt. Adjust the sweetness by adding a bit of honey or sugar if desired. This shake can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours, but it’s best enjoyed fresh. For a dairy-free version, substitute yogurt with coconut yogurt.
