Ever since I saw this Tasty Video on Facebook I have been wanting to make them at home and I got the opportunity to bake these for this year’s Bake-a-thon.
The tasty video represnts recipes so fun and easy to make that you just got hooked to them. I have downloaded the app on my phone and love watching the videos. Someimes my elder daughter would watch any video and ask me to make the dish.
The Garlic Knots turned out super delciious, they were soft inside and a little crust outside. I mean the knots were just perfect and I served them with roasted tomato salsa. I know it doesn’t sound like a combination but believe me it sure was amazing.

Homemade Garlic Knots

Flavorful homemade garlic knots, perfect for game day or a cozy movie night. These soft, pillowy knots are easy to make and always a crowd-pleaser.
Ingredients
- 4 tbsp butter (113 g) butter
- 1/4 cups (59 ml) parsley leaves
- 4-5 cloves garlic cloves
- 1 1/2 cups (355 ml) all purpose flour
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp olive oil (15 ml) olive oil
- 1 tsp instant dry yeast
- 1 cups (237 ml) warm water
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, add flour, salt, and yeast; make a well in the center.
- Pour in olive oil and warm water; mix until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough for about 10 minutes, using dry flour as needed.
- Let the dough rise in an oiled bowl, covered with cling wrap, for about an hour, or until doubled in size.
- Preheat oven to 350°F (177°C) and line a baking tray with parchment paper or grease with butter.
- Divide the dough into 9 equal parts; roll into long tubes and tie into knots.
- Arrange the knots on the prepared tray and bake in the preheated oven for 10 minutes.
- Meanwhile, combine all garlic butter ingredients in a bowl.
- Remove the knots from the oven, brush with garlic butter, and bake for another 5 minutes.
- Serve warm with tomato salsa or another sauce.
Notes
- For richer flavor, use freshly grated Parmesan cheese in the garlic butter.
- To prevent sticking, lightly flour your work surface when kneading the dough.
- Store leftover garlic knots in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days, or freeze for longer storage.
