Description
This guacamole is a simple and flavorful blend of ripe avocados, lime juice, and spices, perfect for dipping or as a topping.
Ingredients

- 2 Hass avocados
- 1 tbsp fresh lime juice
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 1/2 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
- 1/2 tsp dried cilantro or 1 tsp fresh cilantro, chopped
Instructions
- Cut the avocados in half, remove the pits, and scoop the flesh into a bowl. Reserve the pits for later use.
- Add 1 tbsp of fresh lime juice to the avocado and mash with a fork until you reach your desired consistency.
- Mix in 1/2 tsp of garlic powder, 1/2 tsp of onion powder, 1/4 tsp of pepper, 1/2 tsp of crushed red pepper flakes, and 1/2 tsp of dried cilantro or 1 tsp of fresh chopped cilantro. Stir until well combined.
- If not serving immediately, place the reserved avocado pits on top of the guacamole to help prevent browning.
Notes
- To keep the guacamole from browning, place the avocado pits on top of the mixture when storing.
- You can substitute fresh cilantro with dried if needed.
- Adjust the amount of lime juice and spices to taste.
- Serve with tortilla chips or as a topping for tacos and burritos.
