Owners of The Hornet, a beloved South Broadway staple, owners and parents Sean and Betsy Workman have always wanted a restaurant that they could take their child too while still enjoying the company of the friends they were dining with. Acova, their new Italian-gastropub restaurant, is just that. 
Perfect for a date or a casual meet-up with friends, Acova has a beautiful interior and a comfortable outdoor patio. In one corner of the outdoor space is a Montessori-inspired play area so your kids can enjoy the evening out while you sip a cocktail and eat great food.
Also catering to their family’s needs, the Workmans made sure their menu was laden with actually delicious gluten-free options that are far from an after thought. With Celiac eaters in their family, it was important to the couple that their gluten-free menu options be abundant and totally safe. Their kitchen has dedicated gluten-free areas, so this is your chance to get amazing GF fried chicken!
