These Nutella brownies are soft, gooey, and incredibly easy to make with just three ingredients.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 9 oz Nutella
  • 3 oz plain flour
  • 2 medium eggs

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F) or Gas Mark 4.
  2. Line a 20cm x 20cm baking tin with greaseproof paper.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, add 9 oz of Nutella, 3 oz of plain flour, and 2 medium eggs.
  4. Mix together with a wooden spoon until all ingredients are well combined and the batter is smooth.
  5. Pour the brownie batter into the prepared baking tin, spreading it evenly.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the edges are set and the center is slightly gooey.
  7. Allow the brownies to cool in the tin for at least 10 minutes before cutting into squares and serving.

Notes

These brownies are best enjoyed fresh but can be stored in an airtight container for up to 3 days. For a richer taste, try adding a pinch of salt or a splash of vanilla extract. Serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream for an extra treat.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I use a different type of flour instead of all-purpose flour for the Nutella brownies?

While all-purpose flour is recommended for the best texture, you can experiment with alternatives like almond flour, but the consistency may vary.

What should I do if my Nutella is too thick to mix easily with the eggs and flour?

If your Nutella is thick, try warming it slightly in the microwave for 10-15 seconds to make it easier to combine with the eggs and flour.

How long should I bake the brownies, and how can I tell when they’re done?

Bake the brownies for about 20-25 minutes, and they are done when a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs, but not wet batter.

  1. A very nice and so simple idea!!!Actually I “played” with some more easy ingredients and the result was even better(I think!)! Meaning, I added 1 tbsp of vanilla extract(because I dont like the smell of eggs), 70ml coconut milk, and 50ml of coconut oil as well as 1 full teasp powdered cooking soda in the mix. After the baking and while it was still hot, I poured some lemon glaze on top(lemon glaze from using 1 cup powdered sugar, juice from half a big lemon, and lemon peel.I truly believe that lemon and choc are so good friends! It cooled and we enjoyed a really flavorish and fluffy cake!
