Description

A light and calming cocktail for the first days of spring. This is the new patio pitcher drink, complete with fresh lavender.

Ingredients

Scale

Makes 2 drinks

  • 6 oz Lavender Green Tea (I found mine at an asian grocery store)
  • 2 oz Gin
  • Agave syrup/honey/or simple syrup, to taste
  • 2 Fresh lavender sprigs

Pitcher Amounts

  • 34 bags Lavender Green Tea
  • 1 cup Gin
  • Agave syrup/honey/or simple syrup, to taste

Instructions

Makes 2 drinks

  1. Steep tea according to package, chill in refrigerator.
  2. In cocktail shaker add ice and 6 oz of cooled lavender green tea, 2 oz of gin and sweetener to taste. I used agave syrup to bring out the botanicals in the gin and lavender.
  3. Shake and pour into glasses. Garnish with a sprig of lavender.

Pitcher instructions

  1. Bring 750 ml of water to boil. Steep tea according to package using 3-4 tea bags. Pour into pitcher and chill in the refrigerator.
  2. Once chilled add 1 cup of gin, sweetener to taste, ice and stir. Enjoy with Friends!

Notes

This can easily be made into a pitcher drink!
