Frequently Asked Questions

Can I use regular dairy yoghurt instead of soy yoghurt?

Yes — the recipe lists “soy yoghurt / yoghurt,” treating both as equal options. Use 1 cup (240 ml) of either; a thick Greek-style yoghurt will give a creamier, richer yoghurt cream layer when mixed with the lemon juice, zest, and honey.

Can I use maple syrup instead of honey in the yoghurt cream?

Yes — the recipe explicitly offers maple syrup as an alternative to the 2 tbsp honey. Both sweeten the yoghurt layer; maple syrup will add a slightly different, caramel-like note.
