Birch Coffee Launches the Coffee Collective and We’re Hooked

NYC’s beloved Birch Coffee, with locations around the city and a roasting facility in Long Island City, has launched the Coffee Collective. We checked out their new subscription service that delivers their beautifully roasted coffee beans straight to your door, no matter how far from the big apple you are.

When we heard about Birch Coffee and that they specializes in single-origin-sourced beans from Guatemala, Ethiopia, Brazil, Colombia and Mexico, we wanted a taste. But seeing as we have relocated from the bright lights of NYC to the west, that was going to be difficult. While we haven’t had a chance to check out one of there cafes (They even have oat milk to make us a dairy free latte, yay!), or attend one of their coffee education classes, we were able to taste there NY-roasted beans.

To all of our fellow coffee tasting addicts, we urge you to get on board with their newest launch, Coffee Collective. It is a subscription service that delivers the famous Birch coffee beans right to your door. As you order, you select your brew method (French press, cold brew, auto drip, pour over, or chemex), your frequency of shipments and if you’d like your beans to arrive whole or ground. Fresh coffee that arrives on the regular? Yes, please.

We ground up a French press pot of the Birch Blend that had aromas of caramel and fruity dark chocolate hints on the tongue. It was a quality coffee we’d be happy to drink every morning, but we don’t have to! Because the subscription will switch things up and send new beans each shipment.

The subscription packages range from $73.60 per month to $18.40 per month (shipping included).

Disclosure: We were not compensated for this post, but we did receive a free sample of the Birch Blend beans. We were genuinely impressed.
