Wine Tip – 2012 Etude Carneros Chardonnay

The 2012 Etude Carneros Chardonnay has a powerful and fatty nose, a well balanced oakiness and lots of delicious butter on the palate.

Their website writes “Delicate floral aromas give way to suble notes of nectarine and a hint of citrus. Consistent with the nose, the wine fills the mouth with rich citrus and stone fruit flavors that are enhanced by a bright acidity, inviting minerality and lasting vitality”. I might add a powerful and fatty nose, a well balanced oakiness and lots of delicious butter on the palate. I am a sucker for California chardonnays, and I like them big and bold. Just like this wine.
