Frequently Asked Questions

Can I use a different type of wine instead of white wine or dry sherry?

Yes, you can substitute another dry white wine if you prefer, but avoid sweet wines as they will alter the flavor profile of the dish.

What is the purpose of dotting the shrimp with butter?

Dotting the shrimp with butter helps to add richness and moisture to the dish as it bakes, ensuring the shrimp remain tender and flavorful.
