Do you have a jar of wine corks sitting on your counter? (We do too. ) Repurpose them by turning them into cheese knives.

Scour your local goodwill store for a set of cheese knives that have tacky handles and swamp them out for corks with a few simple tools. Or, use this as a great excuse to finally fix your set with a broken handle. You can always order handle-less cheese knives online for a cheap price and add your own corks, too.

  1. Hello – this is a great idea but I’m having trouble finding spreaders and/or handle-less cheese knives. I would love to be able to make the wine cork cheese spreader. Do you have a source for just the blades or spreaders?
