These quick and easy delicious Nori Prawn Patties are great as finger food for a party or serve as dim sum treats for your family to enjoy. You can prepare the patties with simple ingredients a few hours ahead and chill in the refrigerator until you’re ready to pan fry them. It only takes a few minutes to pan fry the prawn patties and serve with mayo or chili dipping sauce.

Description
These quick and easy delicious Nori Prawn Patties are great as finger food for a party or serve as dim sum treats for your family to enjoy.
Ingredients
- 1 cup prawn paste (buy fresh prawns and blend to a paste)
- 1/4 cup frozen mixed vegetables
- 1/2 tsp light soy sauce
- 1/4 tsp sesame oil
- 1/2 tsp corn starch
- nori seaweed
- black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Boil frozen mix vegetables for 2-3 minutes and strain well.
- Place all the ingredients except nori seaweed in a bowl and mix well.
- Cut nori seaweed into half with a pair of scissors. Spread the prawn paste mixture on to the nori seaweed (makes 7).
- Heat non stick frying pan with some oil at low heat. Place the nori prawn patties in pan (prawn meat facing down) and fry for about 2 minutes till golden than flip over and fry for another minute.
- Plate up and serve with mayo or chili dipping sauce.
