Hog on Hog – The Video

The film-makers goal was to make a bad-ass food porn video. For Chef Kapitan, it was to highlight serving humanely raised meat.

Last fall I brought you the story, “Hog on Hog”, the making of a short film by Brookyln’s Listen Films. Hog on Hog features Chef Ian Kapitan of Long Island City’s Alobar and a stunning pig-courtesy of D’Artagnan-tooling through the streets of Manhattan on Chef Kapitan’s beloved Harley Davidson, with the express purpose of said pig becoming dinner.

The making of the video was a dual purpose endeavor. For film-makers Dennis Rainaldi, Rob Cole, and Brian Rainaldi, the goal was to make a bad-ass food porn video highlighting Alobar and its pork-centric menu. For Chef Kapitan, it was to highlight his commitment to serving humanely raised, locally sourced meat. For the rest of the story, check out the full article here.
