Two cheeses are better than one! This gooey grilled cheese is the perfect pairing for a glass of SIMI Sauvignon Blanc.
Ingredients
- 8 slices sourdough bread
- 8 slices cheddar cheese (extra sharp)
- 4 slices fontina cheese
- 8 tbsp butter
Instructions
- Preheat broiler in oven.
- Melt butter in a non-stick pan over medium heat, add bread slices, and toast for 1 minute.
- Top each bread slice with 1 slice of cheddar cheese and continue toasting until the cheese is slightly melted, adjusting heat to prevent burning.
- Sandwich each pair of bread slices with the cheese in the middle and top with 1 slice of fontina cheese.
- Place under the broiler until the fontina is bubbly and slightly golden brown.
- Let rest for 30 seconds before serving.
