Sunflower Butterscotch Fudge

While normally peanut butter and butterscotch are fast flavor friends, this nut-free sunflower butterscotch fudge is made quite delicious and allergy-friendly with sunflower butter.

Sunflower Butterscotch Fudge

This sunflower butterscotch fudge is creamy, sweet and a bit savory thanks to earthy, salty sunflower seed butter. We used a sweetened Natural Crunchy sunflower butter to bring some fun texture in the form of sunflower seed pieces to each fudge square.

Each bite of fudge is delightfully rich and nutty, while being nut free!

While some of the other ingredients bring dairy into the mix (one of the 8 top food allergens Sunbutter is without), we do have some suggestions as to how you can make it dairy free.

We used SunButter to make this fudge. Sunbutter is the maker of field-to-table sunflower seed butter and is free of the top 8 food allergens (including peanuts, tree nuts, soy, dairy, eggs, wheat, fish and shellfish). We love peanut butter, but this sunflower seed butter seriously makes us rethink our favorite nut butters.

Disclosure: We were not compensated for this post, but we did received free Sunbutter in order to create the recipe.
