In this holiday cocktail, vodka and a spiced syrup are made for each other. Courtesy of The Merrion Hotel, this creamy, Christmas spiced-flavored vodka cocktail will be a star at holiday gatherings.


Ingredients

Scale

Christmas Spiced Syrup

  • 1 cup water
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1015 cloves
  • 1 cinnamon stick

White Christmas

  • 1 ¾ oz Ketel One
  • ¾ oz Lemon juice
  • ¾ oz Christmas syrup (Cloves, cardamon, cinnamon) 2:1*
  • 1 oz Cream

Instructions

Christmas Spiced Syrup

  1. Add water and sugar into a small saucepan over medium heat and stir until the sugar is completely dissolved
  2. Remove from heat and add the cinnamon, cardamom and cloves. Let steep for several hours.
  3. Strain into a jar or bottle, tightly sealed and refrigerated.

White Christmas

  1. Add all ingredients to cocktail shaker without ice.
  2. Add ice and shake.
  3. Double strain into rocks glass
  4. Serve on the rocks over cubed ice; garnish with two Cranberries & Mint (to look like holly)
