Fresh Strawberry Liqueur

Here is a recipe for a sweet and fruity strawberry liqueur made from local (strong) spirit. It could be made with good quality vodka, but it wouldn’t be the same.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 6 cups strawberries
  • 946 ml schnapps
  • 7 oz sugar
  • 200 ml water

Instructions

  1. Mash the strawberries and soak them in the alcohol for 10 days.
  2. After 10 days, cook the simple syrup with water and sugar.
  3. Cool it down and add to the alcohol.
  4. Pour into clean bottles and seal.
