Description

These Sriracha and Soy Sauce Beef Lettuce Wraps are loaded with Asian flavors, easy and ready to eat in just thirty minutes.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 Tablespoons sesame oil
  • 1/2 cup onion (chopped)
  • 11/2 teaspoons minced garlic
  • 11/4 lbs. ground beef
  • 1/4 cup hoisin sauce
  • 2 Tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 ” fresh ginger (minced)
  • 1 Tablespoon sriracha
  • 1 Tablespoon lime juice
  • 1/4 cup peanuts (chopped)
  • 1/4 cup cilantro (chopped)
  • Large iceberg lettuce leaves
  • Garnish: chopped green onions (chopped peanuts, matchstick carrot sticks)

Instructions

  1. Heat sesame oil in a large skillet.
  2. Saute onion for 3 minutes adding garlic in last minute.
  3. Add ground beef and cook until done. Drain fat.
  4. Return skillet to heat and stir in hoisin sauce, soy sauce and ginger. Cook until heated through, about 3 minutes.
  5. Remove skillet from heat and stir in remaining ingredients except for lettuce leaves and garnishes.
  6. Serve on lettuce leave with garnishes on side.
