Description

Layered with creamy Florette Goat Brie, sweet pears, rosemary, and a drizzle of honey, these crostini are a delightful appetizer that combines rich flavors and textures.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 French baguette, sliced into 12 1/2-inch slices
  • Florette Goat Brie, enough to spread on each slice
  • 5-6 ripe pears, any variety, thinly sliced
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh rosemary
  • Honey, for drizzling
  • Pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Place the baguette slices directly on the oven rack and toast for 3-5 minutes, or until they are warm and slightly crisp.
  3. Remove the slices from the oven and spread a generous amount of Florette Goat Brie on each slice while they are still warm.
  4. Top each slice with thinly sliced pears.
  5. Sprinkle chopped fresh rosemary over the pears.
  6. Drizzle honey over the top of each crostini.
  7. Finish with a dash of pepper to taste.
  8. Serve immediately while the crostini are still warm.

Notes

For the best flavor, use authentic French goat brie. Check labels to ensure the cheese is from France. Serve the crostini immediately for the best texture. You can substitute the pears with apples if desired. Store any leftover ingredients separately and assemble fresh crostini as needed.
