Description

Cool and refreshing, this vibrant sorbet is the perfect summer treat. Easy to make with just frozen watermelon and lime.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 5 cups (1183 ml) Watermelon Balls
  • 3-4 tbsp Lime
  • Mint

Instructions

  1. Combine 5 cups of frozen watermelon and 3 tablespoons of lime juice in a blender or food processor.
  2. Blend until a shaved ice consistency is reached.
  3. Taste and add 1 more tablespoon of lime juice, if desired, blending thoroughly.
  4. Serve immediately, topped with mint, or freeze for a firmer texture.

Notes

  • For a smoother sorbet, let the blended mixture sit for 5-10 minutes before freezing to allow the ice crystals to soften.
  • If your watermelon is not very sweet, add a tablespoon or two of simple syrup or agave nectar to taste.
  • Store the sorbet in an airtight container in the freezer for up to 2 weeks. Allow to soften slightly at room temperature before scooping.
