- 5 cups (1183 ml) Watermelon Balls
- 3-4 tbsp Lime
- Mint
Instructions
- Combine 5 cups of frozen watermelon and 3 tablespoons of lime juice in a blender or food processor.
- Blend until a shaved ice consistency is reached.
- Taste and add 1 more tablespoon of lime juice, if desired, blending thoroughly.
- Serve immediately, topped with mint, or freeze for a firmer texture.
Notes
- For a smoother sorbet, let the blended mixture sit for 5-10 minutes before freezing to allow the ice crystals to soften.
- If your watermelon is not very sweet, add a tablespoon or two of simple syrup or agave nectar to taste.
- Store the sorbet in an airtight container in the freezer for up to 2 weeks. Allow to soften slightly at room temperature before scooping.
