Description

Simple and easy veg cheese sandwich made with bread, onions, tomatoes, butter, cheese and coriander mint chutney.


Ingredients

Units Scale

For Sandwich

  • 4 slices of bread
  • Butter
  • Sliced tomatoes
  • Sliced onions
  • Cheese slices

For Coriander Mint Chutney

  • 2 cups (480 ml) chopped mint leaves
  • 1 cup (240 ml) chopped coriander
  • 3/4 cup (180 ml) sliced onions
  • 1 to 2 tbsp (15-30 ml) lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 2 to 3 green chillies
  • 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
  • salt to taste

Instructions

To make chutney

  1. Combine all the ingredients and grind to a smooth paste in a blender using very little water. Refrigerate and use as required.

To make Sandwich

  1. Spread butter and mint chutney on one side of 2 slices of bread.
  2. On one bread slice, put onions, tomatoes and cheese slices.
  3. Cover the sandwich with the other slice.
  4. Veg Cheese Sandwich is ready. Serve it with ketchup and tea:)
