A dreamy, light dessert cream, perfect for topping cakes or enjoying on its own. This recipe is surprisingly simple to make at home.

- 1 tbsp organic vanilla “Bourbon”
- 250 ml (8 oz) dairy free fresh cream
- 1 tbsp light brown sugar
Instructions
- Mix the vanilla with the cream and let it sit in the fridge for 2-3 hours. Store in the refrigerator any electric whips and the container you will whip in.
- Whip the cream, adding sugar only when it has already taken form and started to thicken.
- Keep in refrigerator.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, use vanilla bean paste instead of extract.
- If your cream doesn’t thicken easily, ensure it’s very cold and your mixing bowl is chilled as well.
- Store leftover Chantilly cream in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days; its texture may change slightly.
