- 4 phyllo dough sheets
- 10 1/2 oz (300 g) cottage cheese
- 3 1/2 oz (100 g) feta cheese
- 2 eggs
- 8.8 oz (250 g) swiss chard
- Salt, to taste
- Pepper, to taste
- Melted butter or vegetable oil, for brushing
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a muffin pan with melted butter or vegetable oil.
- Take the phyllo sheets and cut them into 3.9 inch by 3.9 inch (10 x 10 cm) squares.
- Stack 5 squares on top of each other, brushing each layer with melted butter or vegetable oil to keep them together.
- Place each stack into the muffin pan, pressing gently to form a basket shape.
- In a bowl, mix together the cottage cheese, feta cheese, eggs, and chopped swiss chard. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Spoon the cheese and chard mixture into each phyllo basket, filling them generously.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the phyllo is golden brown and the filling is set.
- Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- You can prepare the filling in advance and store it in the refrigerator until ready to use.
- If phyllo dough dries out, cover it with a damp cloth while working.
- Serve warm or at room temperature.
