- 1/4 cups (59 ml) Bonne Maman Apricot Preserves
- 1/2 cups (118 ml) Fresh sliced strawberries or fruit of your choice
- 1/4 cups (59 ml) Granola
- 2-3 slices Bacon
- 1 cups (237 ml) Yogurt
Instructions
- Heat a small nonstick skillet on the stovetop.
- Place uncooked bacon on a dish; spread Bonne Maman Apricot Preserves on one side.
- Place bacon in the skillet and cook until done. Set aside to cool.
- Chop the bacon, leaving ½ slice for garnish.
- Get a glass to build your parfait.
- In the glass, place a small bit of vanilla yogurt as the first layer. Add a tablespoon of granola, a tablespoon of strawberries, and a tablespoon of preserves.
- Add a layer of apricot-glazed, chopped bacon.
- Repeat layers until all ingredients are used.
- Garnish with the apricot-glazed bacon slice.
- Serve immediately or refrigerate.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, use Greek yogurt instead of regular yogurt.
- If fresh strawberries are unavailable, frozen strawberries (thawed and drained) work well.
- To make ahead, prepare the layers separately and assemble the parfaits just before serving to prevent the granola from becoming soggy.
