Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1 cups (237 ml) cream
  • 1 cups (237 ml) skim milk
  • 3 oz (90 g) granulated sugar
  • 2,5 tbsp inverted sugar
  • dark chocolate chopped

Instructions

  1. Whip the cream with the sugar until fluffy.
  2. Add the milk and inverted sugar syrup; mix until well combined.
  3. Pour the mixture into the ice cream maker and follow its instructions.
  4. Add the chopped chocolate at the end.

Notes

  • For a richer flavor, use heavy cream instead of a combination of cream and skim milk.
  • To prevent ice crystals, make sure your ice cream base is completely chilled before churning.
  • Store leftover stracciatella ice cream in an airtight container in the freezer for up to 2 weeks.
