- 8 ounce wedge of Brie cheese
- 3 tablespoons dark rum
- 3 tablespoons brown sugar
- 3 tablespoons pure maple syrup
- 1/2 cup toasted chopped pecans
- 1 box ginger snap cookies
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Place the Brie cheese on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine the dark rum, brown sugar, and maple syrup. Stir occasionally and simmer until the sugar is dissolved, about 3-5 minutes.
- Add the toasted chopped pecans to the saucepan and stir to coat them evenly with the syrup mixture.
- Pour the pecan and syrup mixture over the Brie, spreading it evenly across the top.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 10 minutes, or until the Brie is soft and starting to melt.
- Remove from oven and let it cool for a few minutes. Serve warm with ginger snap cookies on the side.
