Radish Greens Stir Fry

Ingredients

  • Radish Greens – A small bunch
  • Onion – 1 large – finely chopped
  • Garlic – 8 to 10 pods – chopped
  • Green chilli – 2- to taste
  • Salt – to taste

For

  • Oil – 1 to 2 tsp
  • Mustard,Urad Dal – 1 tsp each

For Garnish :-

  • Fresh coconut Flakes – as required

Instructions

  1. Wash the greens well and chop them finely.
  2. In a wok/kadai/pan, add oil as it warms let the mustard seeds and urad dal crackle & splutter.
  3. Tip in the chopped garlic ; as the aroma wafts all over, dunk the green chillis and the onions.
  4. Saute for a few minutes.
  5. Add the chopped greens and cook on a low-medium flame for a few minutes. Sprinkle some water if necessary.
  6. Once it starts wilting, season it with salt and mix well.
  7. Cook for a few more minutes and take off flame.
  8. Garnish with fresh grated coconut.
  9. Serve hot with rice/rotis.
