- 9 oz (250 g) potatoes
- Salt
- Pepper
- 3 oz (100 g) Parmigiano cheese
- 1 sheet (or about 14 oz) puff pastry
Instructions
- Cut potatoes and pumpkin into squares and steam them separately.
- Once cooked, sieve the potatoes and pumpkin.
- Season with Parmigiano cheese, salt, and pepper to taste.
- Roll out puff pastry and place it on a baking sheet.
- Pour the potato and pumpkin mixture onto the pastry.
- Bake at 180°C (356°F) for 30-35 minutes.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, roast the pumpkin and potatoes instead of steaming them.
- If puff pastry is unavailable, use a store-bought pie crust as an alternative.
- To prevent soggy pastry, pre-bake the crust for 10 minutes before adding the filling.
