Description

Gooey marshmallow topping, rich chocolate, and tart raspberries make these bars irresistible. A fun twist on a classic smore!


Ingredients

  • 1/4 cups (59 ml) Brown Sugar
  • 2 tbsp White Sugar
  • 5 tbsp Butter (melted)
  • 1/2 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 1 and 1/2 cups (355 ml) Graham Crackers (crushed)
  • 2 Dark Chocolate Bars
  • 1/2 cups (118 ml) Nutella
  • 6 oz (170 g) Fresh Raspberries (halved)
  • 13 oz (370 g) Marshmallow Creme

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (177°C). Line an 11×7 inch baking dish with parchment paper.
  2. Blend 1/4 cup brown sugar, 2 tablespoons white sugar, and 5 tablespoons melted butter.
  3. Blend in 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract.
  4. Stir in 1 1/2 cups crushed graham crackers.
  5. Pour graham cracker dough into the baking dish and pat down to create a base.
  6. Lay two chocolate bars on top of the graham cracker dough.
  7. Bake for 10 minutes.
  8. Spread melted chocolate with a spatula and drizzle 1/2 cup Nutella over the top, swirling with a toothpick.
  9. Top with halved raspberries.
  10. Freeze for 20 minutes, or until chocolate is set.
  11. Top with marshmallow creme and broil for 2-3 minutes, or until golden brown. Watch carefully to prevent burning.
  12. Let cool and enjoy.

Notes

  • For easier spreading, microwave the Nutella for 10-15 seconds before drizzling.
  • To prevent soggy bars, ensure the chocolate layer is completely set before adding the marshmallow creme.
  • Substitute other berries like strawberries or blueberries for the raspberries, adjusting sweetness as needed.
