Description

A refreshing and spicy Mexican fruit cocktail featuring a mix of exotic fruits, lime juice, and a kick of chile powder.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup (240 ml) jicama, peeled and cut into chunks
  • 1 cup (240 ml) cucumber, peeled and cut into chunks
  • 1 cup (240 ml) pineapple, peeled and cut into chunks
  • 1 cup (240 ml) watermelon, cut into chunks
  • 1 cup (240 ml) oranges, peeled and segmented
  • 1 cup (240 ml) mango, peeled and cut into chunks
  • 1 cup (240 ml) melon, peeled and cut into chunks
  • 2 tbsp fresh squeezed lime juice
  • 1 tbsp ground chile powder
  • 1 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Peel and cut the jicama, cucumber, pineapple, watermelon, oranges, mango, and melon into large pieces or chunks.
  2. Arrange the cut fruits in a large, tall glass or in a bowl.
  3. Pour the fresh squeezed lime juice evenly over the fruits.
  4. Sprinkle the ground chile powder and salt over the fruit, adjusting the amount to your taste.
  5. Toss gently to combine and serve immediately.
