Description

Rich white chocolate meets earthy matcha in these elegant little treats. Perfect with a matcha latte!

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 14 oz (400 g) white chocolate
  • 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1 oz (25 g) butter
  • 2 tbsp matcha green tea powder

Instructions

  1. Heat whipping cream to a boil.
  2. Remove from heat and add finely chopped white chocolate.
  3. Add butter and stir until it all comes together.
  4. Pour into a small rectangular baking pan lined with parchment paper.
  5. Let cool for five hours or overnight.
  6. Remove from the pan.
  7. Dust with matcha powder and cut into cubes. Before cutting, run a knife under hot water and wipe with a clean kitchen towel to prevent sticking.

Notes

  • For a smoother ganache, use a double boiler to melt the white chocolate instead of the microwave.
  • To intensify the matcha flavor, sift the powder before adding it to the ganache.
  • Store chocolates in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week to maintain freshness.
