Description

Layers of juicy mango and pomegranate, creamy yogurt, and a touch of honey. A simple, elegant dessert perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1 medium size Pomegranate pearls
  • 1 cups (240 ml) Vanilla yoghurt
  • 1 large size Mangoes (diced)
  • 2 tablespoons Honey

Instructions

  1. Peel and dice the mango into small cubes, about 1/2-inch pieces.
  2. Seed the pomegranate: cut it in half, hold each half cut-side down over a bowl, and tap the back firmly with a wooden spoon to release the arils.
  3. Get two tall glasses or mason jars ready. Start each with 1 tablespoon of honey drizzled across the bottom.
  4. Add a layer of diced mango, then a generous layer of vanilla yogurt, then a scattering of pomegranate arils.
  5. Repeat the layers: honey, mango, yogurt, pomegranate.
  6. Top with a final sprinkle of pomegranate arils and chopped nuts or granola if desired. Serve immediately or refrigerate for up to 2 hours.

Notes

  • For a richer flavor, use Greek yogurt instead of vanilla yogurt.
  • If pomegranate arils are unavailable, substitute with raspberries or other berries.
  • Store parfaits in airtight containers in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
