A refreshing frozen treat made with kombucha. Easy to customize with your favorite fruits and herbs.

- 14 ounce (397 g) bottle of Brew Dr. Kombucha
- 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup
- fresh chopped herbs
- jams
- fresh chopped fruit
- lemon zest
- orange juice
- drizzle of honey
- whipped coconut milk
- fresh herbs
- edible flower
Instructions
- Line a shallow dish or pan with parchment paper.
- Pour in kombucha and whisk in honey or maple syrup, if desired.
- Taste and adjust sweetness to your liking.
- Add any additional desired stir-ins.
- Place in the freezer and scrape with a fork every 30 minutes until frozen solid.
- If using whipped coconut milk or cream, place the can in the freezer to separate solids and liquid.
- Once the granita is frozen, remove the coconut can from the freezer and pour off the liquid.
- Whip the coconut solids with a hand mixer, adding honey to sweeten if desired.
- Scoop the granita into glasses, top with whipped coconut cream, and serve with desired toppings.
Notes
- For a stronger flavor, reduce the kombucha in a saucepan on the stovetop before freezing.
- Substitute any fruit puree for the fresh fruit; adjust sweetness as needed.
- Store the granita in an airtight container in the freezer for up to 2 weeks.
