Description

An elevated take on a summer classic, featuring grilled chicken sausage on a bun, topped with creamy avocado, fresh tomato, and a smoky grilled corn salad.


Ingredients

  • 2 hot dogs or sausages
  • 2 buns
  • 2 tablespoons (30ml) chopped tomatoes
  • 2 tablespoons (30ml) chopped red onion
  • 1/2 ripe avocado (diced)
  • 2 tablespoons (30ml) mayonnaise
  • 1/2 teaspoon (2.5ml) complete seasoning
  • 2 ears corn
  • 1 tablespoon (15ml) olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon (2.5ml) complete seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon (15ml) chopped fresh cilantro

Instructions

  1. To make the corn, brush the ears with the olive oil and sprinkle with the seasoning.
  2. Grill or roast the corn until lightly caramelized. You can leave it whole or slice off the kernels with a knife. Finish by tossing with the cilantro.
  3. Grill your hot dogs or sausages until light golden brown and assemble the sandwiches with the sausages, tomatoes, onions, avocado, and mayonnaise mixed with the seasoning.
  4. Serve with your favorite beverage.
