Description

Sweet and buttery crumble topping baked over juicy strawberries. A delightful individual dessert perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 4 cups (946 ml) fresh strawberries
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • 0.5 cups (118 ml) oats
  • 0.5 cups (118 ml) flour
  • 0.25 cups (59 ml) brown sugar
  • 0.25 tsp cinnamon
  • 3 tbsp melted butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (177°C).
  2. In a medium bowl, mix together the strawberry slices, brown sugar, and flour. Distribute evenly into 4 ramekins.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix together the oats, flour, brown sugar, and cinnamon. Stir in the butter until crumbly.
  4. Top the strawberry mixture with the crumble and bake for 30-35 minutes or until the crumble is golden brown.

Notes

  • For a richer flavor, use a mix of brown and white sugar in the crumble topping.
  • If your strawberries are particularly juicy, pre-cook them for 5 minutes before adding the crumble to prevent a soggy bottom.
  • Store leftover crisps in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days or in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.
