A bunch of healthy greens and fruits come together in this quick and easy recipe for a healthy Green smoothie, which is a great breakfast to kick-start your day, or a satisfying supplement for your hunger pangs throughout the day.

- 1/2 medium ripe banana
- 1/2 cup (120 ml) frozen mango or pineapple chunks
- 1 cup (240 ml) mild greens such as baby spinach
- 1 two-inch piece cucumber, peeled or unpeeled
- 1/4 of a ripe avocado
- 1/4 cup (60 ml) unsweetened almond or coconut milk
- 1/4 cup (60 ml) water
Instructions
- As you can probably guess, there’s nothing much to this recipe then simply using a Blender.
- Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend on high until smooth.
- Garnish with some celery or mint sprigs, if you like. Serve immediately.
