- 1/4 cup cilantro, packed tightly
- 1 garlic clove
- 2 tablespoons lime juice
- 1 can black beans (15 oz), rinsed and drained
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon cumin
- 1/2 cup sour cream
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 325 degrees Fahrenheit.
- In a blender, combine 1/4 cup cilantro, 1 garlic clove, and 2 tablespoons lime juice. Blend until the garlic is well chopped.
- Add 1 can of rinsed and drained black beans, 1/4 teaspoon salt, 1/4 teaspoon black pepper, and 1/4 teaspoon cumin to the blender. Blend until smooth and creamy.
- Mix in 1/2 cup sour cream until fully incorporated.
- Transfer the mixture to an oven-safe dish and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until heated through.
- Serve warm with tortilla chips or vegetables for dipping.
Notes
This dip can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator. Simply blend the ingredients and store, then bake before serving. It can be easily doubled or tripled for larger gatherings. Serve with tortilla chips or fresh vegetables.
