Description

A unique twist on pizza night!
Savory salami, creamy ricotta, and a touch of honey make this a crowd-pleaser.


Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1 batch of your favorite pizza dough
  • 1 1/2 cups (355 ml) marinara or other tomato based pizza sauce
  • 1/3 cup (80 ml) everything seasoning
  • 1 1/2 cups (355 ml) grated mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup (237 ml) ricotta cheese
  • 10 slices thinly sliced salami or pepperoni
  • 1/4 cup (60 ml) honey
  • fresh thyme
  • salt and pepper
  • olive oil

Instructions

  1. Mix the dough according to instructions and fold in 1/3 cup of everything seasoning.
  2. Roll or press the dough into your desired shape and place it on a pizza peel or baking sheet.
  3. Top with sauce, mozzarella cheese, and salami. Brush the edges of the dough with olive oil.
  4. Cook the pizza until halfway done. Add dollops of ricotta evenly across the top using a spoon. Finish baking.
  5. Remove from heat, drizzle with honey, and sprinkle with additional everything seasoning on the crust, salt, pepper, and fresh thyme.
  6. Slice and serve.

Notes

  • For a richer flavor, use whole milk ricotta cheese.
  • If your salami is very salty, reduce the amount of everything seasoning.
  • Leftover pizza can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 2 days; reheat in a skillet for best results.
