- 2 cups mixed nuts (Cashews, Walnut halves, and Hazelnuts)
- 1 1/2 tsp ground cumin
- 1/2 tsp ginger powder
- 1/2 tsp curry powder
- 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 tbsp Extra Virgin Coconut Oil
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 300°F (150°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a pan, heat the Extra Virgin Coconut Oil over low heat. Add the ground cumin, ginger powder, curry powder, cayenne pepper, sugar, and salt. Stir for about 5-6 seconds until the spices are aromatic.
- Add the mixed nuts to the pan and stir well to coat them evenly with the spice mixture.
- Spread the coated nuts in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes, stirring halfway through, until the nuts are golden and fragrant.
- Remove from oven and let cool completely before serving or packaging as a gift.
Notes
You can substitute the nuts with your preferred choice. Store in an airtight container to maintain freshness. These nuts make a great holiday gift when packaged in decorative jars.
