Description
Sweet and tart plum jam with warming cinnamon. Perfect for cheese plates or toast!

- 1 lbs (454 g) plums
- 1 lemon
- 0.25 cups (59 ml) honey
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 0.5 cups (118 ml) water
Instructions
- Add plums, honey, cinnamon stick, water, zest and lemon juice to a medium saucepan.
- Bring to a simmer over medium heat.
- Reduce heat to low and simmer for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally, until thickened.
- Transfer to jars and let thicken at room temperature for an hour.
- Remove the cinnamon stick and refrigerate until ready to use.
Notes
- For a smoother jam, remove the plum skins before cooking.
- Adjust the honey quantity to your desired sweetness level; start with less and add more to taste.
- Store the jam in sterilized jars in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks; longer storage requires water bath canning.
