Description

Ingredients

  • 1 Tbsp chia seeds
  • 3 Tbsp Health-Ade Cherry Berry Kombucha

Instructions

  1. Add berries to a small bowl and mash with a fork until broken down.
  2. Stir in chia seeds and kombucha.
  3. Let the jam sit for 5 minutes, stir, and let sit for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until thickened.
  4. Store the berry chia seed jam in an airtight jar in the refrigerator. It will keep for up to 3 days.

Notes

  • For a smoother jam, blend the mashed berries before adding the chia seeds and kombucha.
  • To adjust sweetness, add a teaspoon of honey or maple syrup to taste after the jam has thickened.
  • If the jam is too thick, add a teaspoon of water or kombucha at a time until desired consistency is reached.
