- 2 cups (473 ml) fresh berries
- 1 Tbsp chia seeds
- 3 Tbsp Health-Ade Cherry Berry Kombucha
Instructions
- Add berries to a small bowl and mash with a fork until broken down.
- Stir in chia seeds and kombucha.
- Let the jam sit for 5 minutes, stir, and let sit for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until thickened.
- Store the berry chia seed jam in an airtight jar in the refrigerator. It will keep for up to 3 days.
Notes
- For a smoother jam, blend the mashed berries before adding the chia seeds and kombucha.
- To adjust sweetness, add a teaspoon of honey or maple syrup to taste after the jam has thickened.
- If the jam is too thick, add a teaspoon of water or kombucha at a time until desired consistency is reached.
