Description

A glass full of cool summer breeze.


Ingredients

Units Scale
  • juice of one lime
  • two slices of ginger
  • 1 barspoon simple syrup
  • 2 dashes Angostura bitters
  • 2 oz. (60 ml) bourbon
  • seltzer to fill

Instructions

  1. Muddle lime, ginger, bitters and simple syrup.
  2. Strain into glass of ice.
  3. Add 2 oz of bourbon.
  4. Fill with seltzer and stir.
  5. Enjoy in the sunshine.

Notes

  • This is also a great cocktail to make ahead in batches.
  • Simply muddle all your ingredients, strain and add the bourbon as a base.
  • Then, when ready to drink, add seltzer to taste and dole out by the pitcherful.
