This quick and easy chocolate fudge recipe is rich and creamy, made with milk powder and cocoa for a sweet treat ready in just 10 minutes.
Ingredients
- Everyday milk powder 200gm-1 packet.(only use everyday brand)
- Sugar-1 cup (200 ml cup)
- water-1/2 cup (120 ml).
- Cadbury’s cocoa powder-1/4 cup (60 ml).
- Butter-1/4 cup/50 gms.
- Vanilla essence-1 or 2 drops.
- Crushed cashew nuts-little.(optional,)
- Colored sweet balls or silver balls for decoration.(optional)
Instructions
- In a saucepan, combine 1 cup sugar and 1/2 cup water. Heat the mixture over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the sugar dissolves completely.
- Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat and let it simmer until it reaches a one-string consistency. This should take about 5-7 minutes. To check, take a small drop between your thumb and forefinger and stretch; it should form a single thread.
- Once the syrup reaches the desired consistency, turn off the heat and immediately add 1/4 cup butter, stirring until it melts completely.
- Stir in 1/4 cup Cadbury’s cocoa powder and mix well until smooth and fully incorporated.
- Add 200g of Everyday milk powder and mix thoroughly until the mixture is smooth and free of lumps.
- Finally, add 1-2 drops of vanilla essence and stir to combine.
- Pour the fudge mixture into a greased or lined tray, spreading it evenly. Optionally, sprinkle crushed cashews on top for garnish.
- Allow the fudge to cool at room temperature until set, then cut into squares and serve.
Notes
- Use only Everyday brand milk powder for best results.
- Ensure the sugar syrup reaches a one-string consistency for the right texture.
- You can add crushed cashews or other nuts for extra crunch.
- Store the fudge in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week.
